Can I join multiple groups?

Yes. You can join as many groups as you like and track contributions separately for each group.

Is there a registration fee?

No. Creating an account on Ujamaapay is free. Group creation and contribution are the only actions that require funds.

Group Buying & Contributions

How does group buying work?
  1. Create or join a group.
  2. Select the product you want to purchase collectively.
  3. Members contribute funds digitally.
  4. Once the target is reached, Ujamaapay places a bulk order.
  5. Delivery is coordinated to a collection point.
How do I create a group?

Click “Create Group,” set your target contribution, add members, and choose a product. Share the group link so members can contribute.

Can I contribute multiple times?

Yes. You can contribute any number of times until the target is reached.

How are contributions tracked?

All contributions are visible in the group dashboard. You can see who has paid and the total progress toward the target.

What happens if the target is not reached?

If the target is not met by the deadline, contributions are fully refunded to members automatically.

Can I leave a group after contributing?

Yes. However, your contributions may only be refunded if the target is not reached.

Payments & Security

How do I pay?

Payments are made via secure digital methods, including mobile money, bank transfers, and card payments.

Is my money safe?

Yes. Ujamaapay uses encrypted transactions, verified suppliers, and transparent contribution tracking. Funds are only released once the group target is achieved.

Are payments regulated?

Yes. All digital payments comply with Central Bank of Kenya
regulations.

Can I get a receipt?

Yes. Every contribution generates an automatic digital receipt accessible in your dashboard.

Can someone contribute on behalf of others?

Yes. You can contribute for friends, family, or members of a group. All contributions are tracked transparently.

Orders & Delivery

How are products delivered?

Once the bulk order is confirmed, verified suppliers fulfill the order, and Ujamaapay coordinates delivery to the designated collection points.

How do I track my order?

Use your group dashboard. You can see order status, estimated delivery, and supplier updates.

Can I change the delivery address?

No. Deliveries are sent to the group’s designated collection point. Please confirm the correct location when creating the group.

What happens if the supplier delays the order?

Ujamaapay communicates with the supplier and the group. You will be notified of any delays. In extreme cases, refunds may be issued.

Can products be returned?

Yes. Returns are handled according to the supplier’s policy. Ujamaapay mediates the process for transparency.
